Katie & John had a unique vision and a "short" amount of time for us to pull it together. We started working together just under 3 months before their wedding! They had their venue - a popular wedding house - already secured and a guest count of around 35 people. Their vision was an intimate weekend with food and intimate moments the main focus.

The design for the weekend was inspired by limited edition Oscar de la Renta plates that we had to source from 4 different vendors! With so much work going into one element it was the inspiration for every moment throughout the weekend and a true representation of Katie and John's vibrant love & personality.

Their are challenges in every relationship, and what makes a successful one is how you handle them together. Katie & John's wedding weekend was one of these challenges for them as the weather did not want to cooperate. They were 100% set on getting married outside so, with flexibility of the couple and a tremendous team effort by all their vendors, we moved the ceremony up a day! They followed their ceremony with their formal rehearsal dinner at Via Mare. The next day, following a legal ceremony, the couple hosted a formal multi-course dinner, chefs-counter style in the open main room of the Dips House. Chef Colin and his team cooked the full dinner right in front of the guests while their closest friends and family shared stories and toasted their marriage.

To no ones surprise, the evening ended in the pool.
