Many couples come to me with some ideas for their wedding, while a select few arrive with a clear vision already in mind. Kelsey was one of those rare clients who knew *exactly* what she wanted. When she booked with us, she brought a 30-page design deck, complete with lawn measurements and bridesmaid dress options—talk about detail! It was an absolute joy to work with her and her partner, and to see their sweet Golden, Raleigh, as part of the process. Together, we brought Kelsey's dream to life, mixing her vision with a few of our own fresh ideas.

The reception, held at the groom’s family home, allowed for a fully customizable guest experience. Every little detail was carefully planned, from the exact hedge opening where guests would enter the property to the poolside cocktail hour, the al fresco satellite bar set up between the tent and the house, and even the custom-built backdrop behind the band in the tented reception. This couple, who spend a lot of time on the island, had fun with unique touches—like surprise “celebrity” bartenders and a lively performance from one of their favorite Boston bands, Legends of Summer. As the almost full moon cast a soft glow over the evening, it became the perfect September night on Nantucket, one everyone will remember!
